Carpospores from a cystocarp of Halurus flosculosus (Ceramiales, Floridophyceae). The sample to be seen under the microscope, once observed, was left overnight and apparently, carpospores decided to go out while the preparation was slowly drying. It was a great surprise when I observed it again the following morning.
