Cultivation of seaweed includes a hatchery stage where the kelp seedlings, in this sugar kelp are seeded on to a twine and cultivated for approx. 30 days. At +/- 30 days, they will look like this, and are almost ready to be deployed to the seaweed farm. The twine is 1,2mm in diameter, for reference.
