DESCRIPTION:Come and join us as we explore the world of Deptford Creek algae! \n\n\n\nDuring the morning we will be exploring the Creek at the edge of our site to take samples of the mud surface and then studying them under high powered microscopes. \n\n\n\nWe expect to find a variety of algae and other organisms which we will record as part of our growing data bank. We’ll be considering questions such as: \n\n\n\n\nhow do these communities relate to the colour of the mud?\n\n\n\nwhat do we know and think about how these communities may change thoughout the day and through different seasons?\n\n\n\nhow does this new awareness of algae make you feel about it?\n\n\n\n\nSpend the morning exploring the mudbanks of the Creek and helping with valuable research into the communities of organisms that live there.
