The BPS and Quekett Microscopical Club are planning to hold another joint freshwater field meeting on the weekend of 3-5 September at Malham Tarn field centre. These are informal events with opportunities to collect and examine algae material from some beautiful locations. An annual meeting of marine scientists and artists with an interest in the sea to encourage collaboration.
