SUMMARY:EIT food Algal Biotechnology course
DESCRIPTION:Applications for the next algal biotech course are now open! \n\n\n\nThe course will be held from 2-4 September at Matis in Reykjavik\, Iceland and provides introductory training and theory in algal biology\, culturing\, growth\, and biotechnology from laboratory to small scale facilities. We will showcase the latest developments and challenges in the sector. The course will offer insights and examples from an industrial and entrepreneurial perspective\, that can help the participants to found or improve their own algal-based business. This course is open to anyone with a Bachelor\, MSc or PhD degree in science or to people with substantial experience within the aquaculture sector or food system. \n\n\n\nWe will start on the first day with speakers from both academia and industry and an evening of networking opportunities.
