DESCRIPTION:CCAP Algaculture training course – in person at SAMS\, Oban \n\n\n\nThe Culture Collection of algae and Protozoa are thrilled to announce the next in-person training course that will take place at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS)\, Oban\, on the 28 and 29th of October. \n\n\n\nThis two day course in a mix of hands-on lab practical classes and lectures. The course covers lots of aspects of algal biology\, media prep and sterilization\, algal maintenance techniques\, strain isolation and purification\, molecular phycology and bioinformatics\, enumerations\, scale-up and metabolomics. We have designed the course so that you will have plenty of interaction with the tutors for questions and discussions.
