As usual, the annual meeting will be packed with the latest advances in phycological research and provide an outlet for research across the whole spectrum of algal research topics. Through the special theme of ‘Harnessing algal solutions towards a sustainable future’ we will explore blue carbon, food systems, and sustainable industrial applications.

As a first for the BPS annual meeting, we’re pleased to be able to offer both in person and online attendance options, which we hope will provide flexible, sustainable, and access-enhancing alternatives.
